Artist’s Bio
Chad Church, a passionate figurative and portrait artist, began his journey airbrushing t-shirts in high school. He pursued animation at the University of Texas and the Art Institute of Dallas, but soon realized his dislike for animation, which led him to pause his art endeavors.
Years later resuming his creative path, Chad joined Concept Art House, San Francisco, as an Account Executive, coordinating with major clients like Warner Brothers, Activision, and Konami. His role was to connect art directors and concept artists, expanding his industry exposure.
His pivotal encounter with Marvel's Karla Ortiz in San Francisco led to a recommendation to attend an Atelier style school, guiding him to the Boulder School of Fine Art (BSOFA). Now, he both learns and teaches there.
Eager to diversify, Chad has explored various artistic styles and techniques in workshops with notable artists such as Casey Baugh, Lyndsey Kustusch, Stephanie Paige Thompson, Karla Ortiz, and Ian McCaig.
Chad advocates for a classical art foundation, viewing it as a vital springboard for artists to express their deepest creative visions, regardless of their chosen art form.
